Most people don’t actually want freedom. They want the illusion of choice within a set of pre-approved options. That’s what society is—a walled garden of narratives, where the edges are smoothed out just enough so you don’t question the fence. The fence keeps you safe. The fence keeps you comfortable. The fence keeps you in.
But there’s something outside the fence. Something raw, something unfiltered. Call it reality, call it chaos, call it the source code of the universe. Very few people step outside willingly. Even fewer know how to read the code once they do.
Technology used to be an escape route. The internet was supposed to be the great equalizer, the ultimate ungoverned space. Now it’s another layer of the simulation, optimized for engagement, monetization, and control. Every algorithm refines the fence, reinforcing the illusion of choice while steering you toward outcomes that serve the system, not you.
The truth is, if you want actual freedom, you have to build it. You have to tear down the interfaces, strip away the layers, and touch the raw bits yourself. Stop asking for permission. Stop waiting for someone to hand you a key. There is no key. There is only the realization that the lock was never real in the first place.
Freedom isn’t a gift. It’s a bug in the system, waiting to be exploited.
TThe question is, do you want to be free, or do you just want a slightly bigger cage?
